What are you?

I just got done reading this blog on Selfish seamstress and was total in agreement with her about knock offs being sold as peoples own creations and they are obviously from a pattern!

The other day I was thinking what am I really I am not a designer (making patterns aggravates me, I can not sit still long enough to enjoy digitizing). I find inspiration in my patterns and color and when I see someone wearing something that is perfect. Don't get me wrong when I grow up I would love to learn how to do all of those things but with 5 kids still at home my patience is way to thin. I do have one pattern I have made but it is custom to my husbands body I suppose I could make it work for someone else if  I wanted or had the time.

Anyways I was talking about it with Dave aka husband and in that talk we have Decided I am your personal seamstress, Embroidery person. LOL

Just because we can sew well and understand construction of a garment, and techniques does not make us a designer. As I see myself we can run a machine and build something, and we can finish it. That is what I am good at.

So when you think about what you are what do you call yourself?
